closing remark of the day’s lecture he repeated the oft referred to cautionary quote
on power: Power is like wine. It goes to the head. Or something to that effect
in that Indian twang of his.
The lecture was probably about powers
and role of the YDPA (Yang DiPertuan Agong) in the government...

Jah Work
Aku teringat satu scene dari cerita Enemy at the Gates bilamana sewaktu itu Battle of Stalingrad masih lagi tengah berlangsung dan tentera Kesatuan Soviet tengah teruk dibantai tentera Nazi Jerman. Teruk tapi belum betul-betul kalah. Jatuh/Bangun
Bangun pagi ini seluruh badan rasa lenguh dan sengal.
Malam semalam penutup minggu sukan anak aku yang sulung. Sepanjang
minggu ada acara sukan berjalan sewaktu waktu persekolahan. Penutup
